I was failing in my old school. My grades were D’s and F’s. I was embarrassed to ask for the help I needed and there were just too many kids. Everything changed when I became a part of Wings of Hope Academy. Ms. Krueger really made a positive difference in my life. Ms. Nash made sure my work was exactly at the right level for me. I wasn’t feeling lost and I could work at my own pace. Then the magic happened. I became more confident and pretty soon my pace for learning was faster. I caught up. I am so proud to be graduating in May and I feel ready to begin my adult life with new confidence.

What parents have to day
Everyone has noticed the change since our middle schooler started at Wings of Hope Academy! He is an accelerated student, but really struggling in school. We were afraid that he would have a hard time concentrating in his new school. But he very quickly became engaged in the classes and he really seems to enjoy working in small groups with other students. The other students have been very supportive and encouraging. We are so pleased to see his new confidence, his new friends, and his accomplishments. No more academic shut-down! Academic testing after 5 months at Wings of Hope Academy confirmed that huge gains were made in reading and writing, which had been areas of struggle. Now we have a student who is successful in every academic area. I wish we would have made the change sooner.

Private school providing alternative learning
Some of our students have learning differences that might be identified as special education students in a public school. Students affected by dyslexia, dysgraphia and other language based challenges find they can catch up for lost educational time at Wings of Hope Academy. Some of our students are accelerated learners who might be identified as gifted and talented by public schools and they participate in enrichment and accelerated learning programs.
Now Enrolling
New students are welcome at Wings of Hope Academy during the academic year. Summer programming is available for homeschool students and students attending other schools.
