Individualized education
Every student has a unique learning style and a unique learning experience. Wings of Hope Academy curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of each student. It is not unusual for a student to work on material two grades ahead in one subject and recieve remediation or take extended time in another. Students learn best when the challenge is "just right". We accept and challenge each student for who they are and do not require special education labels. Each student has an individualized program and some students may participate in direct instruction one-on-one with a trained education specialist to remediate missed skills.
Learning together
Our small multi-age classroom offers individualized and collaborative learning opportunities for every student. Groups solve problems together and learn through shared experiences.
Private school providing alternative learning
Some of our students have learning differences that might be identified as special education students in a public school. Students affected by dyslexia, dysgraphia and other language based challenges find they can catch up for lost educational time at Wings of Hope Academy. Some of our students are accelerated learners who might be identified as gifted and talented by public schools and they participate in enrichment and accelerated learning programs.
Now Enrolling
New students are welcome at Wings of Hope Academy during the academic year. Summer programming is available for homeschool students and students attending other schools.
